Become a sponsor or mentor and help directly
Anyone who is willing to help newcomers in a foreign country and culture can become a sponsor or mentor. You are approachable and help them find a new home. This includes practical support, such as accompanying them to appointments with authorities, helping them find housing and providing language instruction. It also includes listening to them, giving them advice, encouraging them, and engaging in cultural exchange. Long-lasting friendships can develop in the process.
The only requirements are openness and tolerance, a joy of helping, time, and patience. The time commitment can be individually and flexibly arranged.
You have already taken the first step to becoming a sponsor or mentor by visiting our website. Please contact us for a personal get-to-know-you meeting to discuss your motivation and experience. We will then find a suitable local employee in your area for you. Then the sponsorship can begin. You are not alone! Our experienced staff is always available with advice and support. We also offer you a variety of regular training courses and meetings for exchange.
Become part of our network and help us make a difference! Together for a solidary Germany!
